iPhone 7 may retain the headphone jack and support for dual SIM

Few days back some of Foxconn employees leaked on weibo that due to technical difficulties Apple iPhone 7 will not feature rear facing dual camera. But Ming-Chi Kuo an Apple analyst has a different thought that dual rear camera might be the part of a 5.5 inches model. iPhone 7 plus fans will be happy to hear that such rumors put on back burner while other claiming for dual camera set up where one camera will offer users optical zooming.

Another rumor also seriously challenged that iPhone 7 will release without headphone jack. Last month one of chines manufacturer had shown off the adapters that turn the lightning port into a 3.5 jack for earphones. Now one of the most stimulating rumors claimed that 3.5mm headphone jack will ditch in upcoming iPhone 7, means users will have to get audio output via Bluetooth or lightning. Cellphone repair company in Ganzhou China Rock Fix has recently shared the photos of supposedly iPhone 7 components. One of the image depict the 4.7 inches model Lightning cable assembly with headphone jack assemble to it opposing what we’ve been hearing before. Other images illustrate next iPhone dual SIM tray which will be first for Apple if true, SanDisk 256GB memory chip, some screen panels in the usual two sizes and dual camera module for large size of 5.5 inches. Rock Fix also claimed that there will be some changes in antenna design.  Despite of all current leaks, uncertainty still there regarding iPhone 7 features. Some insider sources are claiming dual-lens camera technology wasn’t ready and other rumors argue that multiple suppliers saying that tooling was already made but it’d be too late to change as mass production started last month.

Rock Fix also added that  it will be interesting to see where the mobile industry stand in coming months as Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo and Samsung also exploring dual-lens camera technology for their smartphones.
